The online heavyweight, Amazon has recently announced that Amazon Cloud Player is being made available on Sonos Wireless HiFi systems in UK, Spain, France, Italy, and Germany. Sonos already supports Spotify. Sonos Wireless HiFi Experience Got Even Better!!!
It means that anyone who buys Amazons MP3s will be able to instantly stream them on their Sonos multiroom speaker systems.
Thus far, it’s been accessible on the Kindle Fire devices, Android, iPhone, iPad and iPod, Mac and PC.
To get started, you’ll need a five-digit code from your Sonos controller, which will allow you to register through Amazon.com. Once it’s registered, to find your collection on your controller, just select ‘music’ and then ‘Amazon Cloud Player’.
“Our goal is to enable customers to enjoy all their music, wherever they are, and on any device,” said Amazon VP for Digital Music Steve Boom.
“Launching on Sonos today in the UK, following the success of Amazon Cloud Player for Sonos in the US, is an important part of that strategy.”
